We had a brilliant week at Craster colours. Its quirky decoration meant there was always something new to see every time you walked into a room. There was lots of space for all of us and well equipped to meet all our needs. It was also great that it was so dog friendly. The aga was a challenge but we mostly got it by the end of the week and the cottage inn pub was brilliant when we didn’t feel up to the task. The location was brilliant with the coast just a short walk away

The house is quirky and very clean. Welcome Pack is more than enough. There is a lot of pink if you like that colour, it is a comfortable place. The dogs are enclosed at the back of the house. The Aga is easy to use just got to remember there is knobs to turn and the left hot plate is hotter than the right, quite simple. The Cottage Inn is only a few minutes walk, and the food is excellent, you will have to book for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It's dog friendly. You can walk in to Craster via the footpath near the pub. doesn't take long. There are plenty of nice beeches to the north or south of Craster. Would recommend the place. David and Rachael

Craster Colours was the most fabulous long weekend stay. We were a group of 12 adults. We found the house clean and beautifully presented. The decor is truly stunning and so much fun to look at, but with the benefit of also being incredibly comfortable and homely. The house is colourful and every single piece of furniture, soft furnishings, art, utensils, equipment etc has been tastefully and lovingly placed! The kitchen is large with lots of dining space, a lovely AGA oven and kitchen aid. 2 large fridge-freezers. There is copious seating in the 2 reception rooms. The bedrooms are spacious and stunning! 2 have en-suites and one family bathroom and a toilet downstairs. Beds comfortable with nice bedding and towels. Modern well designed bathrooms. The whole house is warm and comfortable. There is plenty of private parking. The house is set back from the (quiet) road through Dunstan and feels very private being detached with plenty of space around it. The garden was also beautiful, with colourful garden furniture and palm trees. We loved the pink festoon lighting in the evenings. Would love to go in the summer to make more of the garden! The location is great in Dunstan village, round the corner from a Village Pub/Inn and a walk or very short drive to Craster and the Northumberland Coast line! Would absolutely book Craster Colours again. Exciting that there is a Disco room and cinema room to come!

Lovely quirky house, really comfortable and relaxed.

Fabulous, quirky house in a superb location for exploring Northumberland. This house is stuffed full of character and provided the perfect base for 6 adults and 3 dogs to get together. The super dining area was the perfect spot for sociable evenings of food, drinks and board games.

Great house in a superb location. Super garden area and we all felt relaxed. Minor issue was the aga - not having ever used one before, I was unsure and we therefore ate out more than intended

Craster Colours is a generous and comfortable large family holiday house. We love the peaceful setting close to but not in Craster. The location is superb for heading to all the beaches and visiting the many castles about. Once you have got to grip with cooking on the Aga it’s a joy, although it can be a bit warm in the kitchen on warm days. All the towels dry quickly though. The house was very clean, the provided welcome goodies excellent and the garden is great for small people to run around and play on the new climbing frame. Oh and the adults enjoyed our stay too! Happy holidays !

Brilliant house for families or friends. Beaches nearby, lots of really good places to eat & can take your dogs.

For a large family group with 7 adults, 4 children 3 and under and 6 dogs this was a great, quirky house, lovingly furnished, in excellent order with a welcoming feel and no petty rules in a beautiful part of the country.

Whilst the highly colourful decor is not my personal choice, it was a truly amazing property with visual surprises popping up even to the last day. Loved it

We loved Craster Colours but felt the state of the garden let it down. The garden was very overgrown in places (brambles and hawthorns) and the wisteria was struggling to show itself. The very expensive oriental wooden seats are in need of some TLC. Overall though, a beautiful house and we will be back.

Craster Colours is a quirky, colourful and comfortable house. We had a lovely week despite the weather. Very well equipped with everything you need for self catering. We had a small problem with the electrics but this was dealt with and instructions given to help.us fix the problem. The grandchildren loved the garden and all the toys in the house.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful place. It was a great place to have a family holiday. Cooking a meal for 12 was challenging on the Aga!! The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The extra touches were greatly received. The pub in the village served lovely food and was only a stones throw away. We had a great holiday and would highly recommend craster colour.

Fantastic house for our family to celebrate my Mum and Dad’s 80th birthday. Very well equipped. Everything you could wish for and comfortable, spacious, clean. All of the family enjoyed it. Perfect.

We had a great stay at Coaster Colours. A lot of thought has clearly gone into making it as comfortable and well-equipped as possible and it was great that it was so dog friendly (we really appreciated the towels in particular!). The house worked really well for our group of 3 families over New Year and is in a great location.

We have loved our stay here- all of the quirky and colorful touches, and the thoughtful provisions of essentials (and some treats!) The kids in the family have had a fantastic time here! We were all really comfortable and had a great holiday!

We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the style of the place clearly somebody has put a lot of thought into making it a unique place to stay. We would love to come back sometime.

This house is a wonderful house. I like how bright and colorful it is. The garden is massive it was great for the 10 of us and 3 dogs. I'd definitely come back!

We spent the weekend here celebrating a 60th birthday, couldn't have found a lovelier place to do so!! We absolutley loved your wonderful quirky, warm and comfortale home! The bedrooms are so lovely with such beautiful views and attention to detail. The downstairs/outside has been just perfect as a place for all of us to enjoy together as a family. We played endless games of bowels and used the board games too. All the lovely touches from the provision in the fridge upoon arrival, to the coffee pods, buscuits, tea bags, popcorn and dog buscuits et were much appreciated! Thank you for a truly wonderful stay, we will defintley stay again!!!

Lovely house and gardens and thank you for the welcome food supplies. We enjoyed the week and the weather was glorious. Kitchen was really well stocked- short of nothing.

The perfect party house!!! All teh family came together to celebrate our wonderful wife/ mother/ nannie for a stella birthday weekend. All the rooms have been perfect- especially the family room and the balloon lights. We have loved eating and drinking together in and out of the house. We have loved our stay- thank you colorful craster cottage. We will surley be visiting again.

We had a great stay @ Craster Colours to celebrate my aunties 50th and my 26th birthday! It's a beautiful home and all 9 adults, 1 child and 6 dogs enjoyed the home comforts. Bedrooms are beautiful and spacious. I will be recommending this to others and hope to return back soon.

This property exceeded our expectations. Amazing décor, quirky and interesting not to mention colourful! So much space for us all to spread out and do our own thing, or come together as a family. The Aga takes a little getting used to. Loved every minute of our stay.
