Reviews

Great apartment and will definitely return.

Ms L,

We had an excellent stay. The car parking in the garage is perfect, the apartment spotlessly clean and very well equipped with comfy beds and beautiful linen. It is centrally located in Seahouses with easy access to all amenities. We highly recommend and hope to go again sometime soon.

Mrs P,

A modern well appointed apartment, convenient for harbour and good choice of restaurants close by.

Mrs T,

Good location great stay

Mr B,

Loved everything about the apartment; clean, perfectly decorated and everything you needed .

Miss R,

The property is very well located right in the centre of Seahouses just a stone throw from the harbour. There is good parking for this property with a large parking space in the garage below and a lift which makes the carrying of luggage to and from very easy.

Mr A,

This apartment is not cheap, but for the sake of another few pounds a week, it could be vastly improved by supplying a small welcome of milk, tea, coffee and sugar and also some better quality toilet rolls. We even had to buy some salt.

Mr D,

Lovely accommodation excellent location very clean modern and spacious would highly recommend and we will be back

Mrs W,

Bluegrass is a very convenient place to stay, with lift to first floor and plenty of takeaway/restaurants and the Potted Lobster at Bamburgh. Lovely beaches

Mrs K,

My daughter and I very much enjoyed our stay in Bluegrass, and the garage was appreciated as she had a new car. The seaside touches in the apartment were lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a drink, enjoying the view. Bluegrass is very well positioned for seeing the sights in that part of the country.

Mrs D,

Love this apartment. We have stayed here at least 9 times in the 11 years we have been visiting Seahouses. It’s close to all you need. Parking is great as you have a bay in a garage to use. The view we love and the apartment itself always feels are coming home.

Mrs S,

A very good property in a prime location- perfect for shops and beach. The property is well appointed with a sea view and private parking. We would definitely book again.

Mr N,

On arrival at the property, we were amazed to find the beds had not been made up or stripped from the previous guests. We were also unsure if the property had been cleaned. 3 housekeepers arrived at 4.40pm to change the linen and were surprised to see us there as according to their records, there was no let for our week. One of them was of the opinion that the property had not been cleaned as no Welcome Pack had been left and an empty bag had been left from the previous guests.

Mrs Elizabeth P,

Location

Located in the centre of Seahouses, above the harbour, Bluegrass is in a prime position for accessing the beach, shops and restaurants without the need for your car. At just five minutes south of Bamburgh and the same distance north of Beadnell, it is ideally positioned for exploring the Northumberland coast and its plentiful beaches. Boat trips to The Farne Islands can be accessed from the harbour, operating all year round. Highlights include grey seals in the autumn, puffins from Easter until summer and occasionally dolphins.
For further information about the area, see our Seahouses section.
