All four are light and airy and adorned with fresh, modern furnishings and lovely little details which make them welcoming spaces. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and there’s also a family bathroom on this floor.

Location
Rock
This historic estate village has been owned by the same family for over 200 years. It is a designated conservation area centering around Rock Hall (now a small private preparatory school) and the Norman church of St Philip and St James, with a village cricket ground, a mill pond and further east, the sea. The village is a 10 minute drive from Alnwick market town, which has become famous in recent years for its castle and the role it played in Harry Potter films. But the town has other buildings of historical interest, a traditional market square with farmer's markets and food festivals and the popular Alnwick Garden, the brainchild of the Duchess of Northumberland whose home is Alnwick Castle.
The village itself is surrounded by farmland and there are walks and trails for all ages. Of particular interest to some guests will be the pub in the neighbouring village of Rennington.
For further information on the area, see our Craster, Embleton and Alnmouth section.
