Reviews

Lovely cottage - great location and very comfortable.

Mrs B,

The cottage was a great base for a large group to make the most of the area and in general the place was comfy and had everything we needed, although looked a bit tired in places.

Mrs H,

Lovely, well equipped property with an accessible bedroom downstairs. The garden has a wonderful view and was big enough for a three year old to run around properly.

Mrs M,

Location

CRASTER

Craster is a small fishing village on the Northumberland coast, situated south of Embleton and to the east of Alnwick. Famous for its Craster kippers, which can still be bought from Robson's Smokery or sampled at The Jolly Fisherman gastro pub, it is a popular destination for visitors thanks to the atmospheric ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle and its excellent sea views. Coastguard's Cottage is located down a lane, tucked behind Robson's Smokery, just a couple of minutes' walk from the harbour, local pub, art gallery and cafe, and of course from the sea front.
