Taking a boat trip out to The Farne Islands. You’ll get to see grey seals, many seabirds and if you’re lucky, dolphins.

Take advantage of the private leisure club membership that comes with your Retreat and enjoy a swim at the nearby The Ocean Club. A small entry fee applies.

One of my favourite things to do is to go for a gorgeous seafood meal at St Aidan’s bistro ( just a minute’s walk away), followed by an evening walk along Seahouses beach to watch the sun set over Bamburgh Castle.
