Smuggler’s Hide Makeover

An unexpected edge of purple in the dining area has transformed Smuggler’s Hide into a bright, new, bold coastal cottage. Updated by Coastal Retreats and its new owners, this cottage, which has been in our collection from the start, now feels exciting, contemporary and somewhere we can’t wait to go and stay.

We particularly love the coastal white shutters which let in light from those beautiful Northumberland skies, the wave wall at the top of the stairs, the industrial style dining table and the crisp, white linen in the bedrooms.

Smuggler’s is located in the centre of Beadnell village and is walking distance from the beach. It sleeps five and has a feature log burner for wintry days.
