Just added to our collection: Rosebud

A charming retreat nestled in the grounds of Hetton Hall with views of the Northumberland National Park’s Simonside Hills, Rosebud is the perfect spot for a family holiday or romantic getaway. With its beautiful stone exterior and rural location, this two-bedroom cottage has been lovingly crafted by guests turned owners who have created a hideaway where tranquillity can be found.
This quintessential Northumberland setting is near the villages of Belford and Chatton and just 20 minutes drive from Bamburgh and the coast. But what is most striking about its location is its proximity to the National Park with its unique dark sky status. Think uninterrupted views of starry nights and the chance to see the Northern lights at certain optimal times of the year.
Just through the property’s gated entrance, you’ll find a private lawned area with rose bushes – hence the name – leading down to the cottage door. There’s also a separate outdoor gravelled patio area giving you the choice of where to dine al fresco or catch the summer sun. Inside there is a feature log burner and exposed wooden beams which are interlaced with contemporary living including WI-FI, Netflix, robes and slippers in the master bedroom and a Nespresso coffee machine.
A short drive away you’ll find the highly-rated gastropub – The Percy Arms – and the deli and café at Sunnyhills of Belford where you can pick up Northumberland produce or indulge in a slice of cake.
You cannot fail to be charmed by this Retreat – new to our collection and with availability for the 2016 Summer season.
